9-Ball ist das auf Turnieren am meisten gespielte Billard-Spiel. Es hat einfache Regeln und ist ein schnelles Spiel. Selbst wenn viel Safe gespielt wird, dauert eine 9 Ball-Partie allgemein nicht sehr lange. Gespielt wird mit den Kugeln 1 bis 9, also allen „Vollen“ Kugeln und der gestreiften 9.

Bei jedem Stoß muss mit der weissen Kugel zuerst die Kugel mit der niedrigsten Zahl getroffen werden. Es ist aber erlaubt, dass durch eine Kombination eine andere Kugel versenkt wird. Wer mit einem korrekten Stoß die 9 versenkt, gewinnt. Es muss keine Kugel angesagt werden, weshalb besonders schwächere Spieler gerne mal auf gut Glück einen besonders harten Stoß ausführen und hoffen, dass irgendeine Kugel fällt – im besten Fall die 9, die dann das Spiel entscheidet. Deswegen wird 9-Ball auch liebevoll Bolz- oder Glücksball genannt. Fällt die 9 bei einem nicht korrekten Stoß (Foul), so wird diese auf dem Fußpunkt aufgebaut und das Spiel geht mit freier Lageverbesserung der weißen Kugel auf dem ganzen Tisch (Ball in Hand) für den anderen Spieler weiter, auch wenn nur noch die 9 auf dem Tisch ist.

One thing I would like to say is before getting more computer memory, take a look at the machine in which it would be installed. If the machine is definitely running Windows XP, for instance, the memory limit is 3.25GB. Putting in over this would purely constitute a new waste. Make sure one’s mother board can handle this upgrade volume, as well. Good blog post.
